Community Relations

Every time Mobility On Wheels rents a scooter or other mobility aid, we bring our legacy of giving and service to the community around it through the local programs and partnerships we support.

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of September 11, 2001.

WWP’s vision is to “foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history” as it works to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service members, help severely injured service members aid and assist each other and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.

American Legion Riders Post 352 of Somers Point, NJ support Veterans not only in Somers Point but all over South Jersey and even out of state. If you know of any Veterans needing support, escorts or any help needed, let them know and they will do their very best to provide help.

To date, over 500 American Legion Riders programs, organized by chapters, districts, or departments, support Americanism and Children and Youth programs in virtually every state in the nation, and more are organizing each month. One of the fastest-growing and most highly visible of the many programs offered by The American Legion, The American Legion Riders are a very diverse group, and so are the programs that they support.
